The Resource Center guarantees that we will recycle over 90% of the materials we pick up.

TRIPLE SORT RECYCLING PICKUP

The Resource Center began as a recycling operation over 40 years ago.

When you choose Resource Center, you are choosing to join our greater mission of reducing unnecessary waste for our environment to benefit our planet and humanity on a local level.

We service commercial business and residential homes as well as multi-unit residences.  As Chicago's first non-profit recycler, Resource Center collects recyclable materials through curbside collections, drop-off centers, and buy-back centers across the city of Chicago.

We guarantee that we will recycle over 90% of the materials we pick up. We are the only recycler working in Chicago who can make that promise.

Better Government Association released an important investigative report in October 2018 on how recycling efforts in Chicago are failing to keep recyclable materials out of landfills.  Click here to read their important findings.
